Payment Portal Questions

I pay my bill through my bank’s online service. Do I need to make any changes?

You will need to check with your banking institution.  If they send your payments electronically, no action is needed to update your account.  If payments are sent via U.S. Mail, your bank will need to update the address of where to send your payment to one of the following addresses:

I do not see my account usage information.  Where do I go to find this information?

Currently, usage information is not available through the MyXOOM Account portal.  To find your current usage information, please refer to your most current XOOM Energy bill.

 

How do I future date a payment?

At this time, the functionality is not available.  This will be available in the future.   

 

Where do I find my bill account number to set up my account?

Your bill account number can be found on the Welcome Email you received when you enrolled with XOOM Energy or on a past monthly bill.

 

How do I set up a MyXOOM account?

To set up your account, click on “Pay My Bill” and select “I’m New!  Create An Account”.  From here, enter the bill account number located on your Welcome Letter or on your XOOM Energy bill.

 

I had an account previously with XOOM.  How do I access my account?

To access your account, click on "Pay My Bill" and enter the email address associated with your account and the temporary password which was emailed to you. If you have trouble finding your password, simply click on “Forgot Your Password” and enter your email address. Instructions will be emailed to you on how to update your password. After your first login, you may change your password at any time.

 

How do I set up Auto Bill Pay?

Once you’ve accessed your account, simply click on “Set up Auto Bill Pay” from your dashboard and enter the required information.  Auto Bill Pay will take effect on your next bill date. 

 

If I previously had Auto Bill Pay with XOOM, will it still work with the new website?

Unfortunately you will need to set up Auto Bill Pay in our new portal.  Once you’ve accessed your account, simply click on “Set up Auto Bill Pay” from your dashboard and enter the required information.  Auto Bill Pay will take effect on your next bill date. 

 

I prefer to mail my payment.  Where do I send it?

Any invoice dated after May 10, should be mailed to one of the following addresses:

How do I update my Auto Bill Pay credit card?

It’s simple.  Once you access your account, select “Manage Auto Bill Pay”.  From here, you can update any information, including your credit card information, associated with your Auto Bill Pay account. 

 

Is paperless billing available?

Paperless Billing is not currently available through XOOM Energy, however, we are always looking to improve our customer experience and paperless billing will be available in the future.

 

If I cancel Auto Bill Pay, how quickly will this take effect?

Once you cancel your Auto Bill Pay, it will take effect immediately.

 

When does my Auto Bill Pay payment go against my account?

Auto Bill Payments are drafted at approximately 6 am EDT two days before your payment due date.

 

I've set up Auto Bill Pay; how soon will my Auto Bill Pay start drafting? What happens if I have a past due balance, will it draft the entire past due balance now or wait for my next payment due date?

Before setting up Auto Bill Pay with XOOM, make sure you bring your account current by making a one-time payment. Once you have made this payment, set up Auto Bill Pay and your next invoice will be automatically charged to your debit or credit card.
