How Deregulation Works
There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes. By the time you flip a switch or turn up the heat, many different entities have joined forces to bring your energy to you. Words like “distribution companies”, “retail suppliers” Megawatt hours, Decatherms, Wholesale trading, get thrown around. It can all seem a little complicated. OK. A
lot
complicated.
Here is the simple breakdown:

Provider companies either generate electricity or process natural gas
XOOM Purchases Energy on Your Behalf

We are strategically aligned with one of the world’s largest energy wholesalers who manages gas and power assets, enabling us to buy energy on a very competitive basis
We make all the arrangements for this energy to be delivered to your local utility using the most economical transport paths available
Whether it's across the country or across town, we handle all the details to make sure the energy shows up
What We Do
